Symptoms
Inter-org intransit shipment cannot be cancelled on manage shipments form RCVSHESH as the tools / Cancel button is greyed out.
Steps
1) Inventory responsibility: Transactions / Inter-organization Transfer INVTTMTX form
Create an inter-org shipment that is intransit from org A to org B
2) Need to cancel intransit shipment
3) Purchasing responsibility Receiving -> Manage shipments RCVSHESH form
Log into org B
Find the shipment needing to be cancelled
At line level
Tools / Cancel
Option is greyed out
