Symptoms

When attempting to process an RMA to Installed Base, the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
The Instance (XXXXXXXX), cannot be expired. This Instance has transactions with transaction date (XX-XXX-XXXX XX:XX:XX), which is later than the date passed for expiration.

Error Code: CSI_PARENT_HAS_TXN

 

STEPS
-----------------------
1. Receive an RMA after the replace Item was shipped to the customer.
2. Observe that the transaction fails in the Installed Base Interface with the noted error.
