Unable To Set Child Work Order Duration After Parent Work Order's Scheduled End Date. (Doc ID 1531767.1)

Symptoms

PROBLEM:

When attempting to add a child work order that is outside the parent duration, the following error occurs:

ERROR
-----------------------
The hierarchy scheduling structure validation failed after adding child () to parent ().


WHAT IS WORKING
-----------------------
Customer can generate work orders but not in parent/child relationships.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Maintenance Super User responsibility
2. Work Orders tab > Query an existing WO that would be a parent
3. Open the WO > Work Relationships tab > click on Update Work Hierarchy
4. Use the Option to Create Child Work Order
5. Enter required information (wo number, asset number, department)
6. Enter the dates outside the parent wo dates
7. Select Released status and try to save.
