Goal

Q1. When we run create settlement process, will the process create file in Oracle erp file system, or will that directly create in service providers file system(Paymentech)?

Q2. When we run clearing process, will the process read *.done file from service providers file system(Paymentech) or will that get the file to erp server and places in erp server and does the processing in erp system?

Q3. At what time will the .map file be created, which contains the *.done file name in it . Is this at the time settlement or clearing?

Q4. At what time is the .ack file created, is that the time of clearing/settlement?

Q5. In .map file we have .done file name and des_key_id elements and des_key_id is some random number. What is desk_key_id and what it is used for?

Q6. ack files are encrypted, What is algorithim used for encryption. We know that cc numbers are encrypted thru des3 algorithm?

A7. Is .ack file encrypted with the same algorithim ? Is that uses wallet file key to encrypt the data?
