Deletion Of A GTM Transaction Line From A GTM Transaction As An Update Through Integration Using Tra (Doc ID 1540584.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Global Trade Management - Version 6.2.8 to 6.2.8 [Release 6.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On GTM version 6.2.8 version.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

A GTM Transaction is created with 3 lines. As an update, if user needs to delete line 2, he is expected to upload an update XML with Transaction code ‘RC’ and tag as ‘GtmTransactionLine’ with GTM transaction line elements as line 1 and line 3 only.

After upload of updated XML, GTM transaction is recreated with line 1 and 3 and does remove line 2. However, currently GTM deletes all existing Transaction line statuses for line 1 and 3 as well.
When querying for Transaction line statuses system is showing the result as ‘No Default statuses are defined’ which seems to be quite unexpected. GTM is supposed to update the data and retain the transaction line statuses as is.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Have a Transaction in GTM with 3 lines.
2. Send in an update for lines 1 and 3.
3. All lines are deleted.
