Error When Attempting To Change Source Bank Details On Payment Method: APP-PAY-34070: The bank account does not uniquely map to cash management account (Doc ID 1548360.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to change the Source Bank Details for multiple payroll (organizational) payment methods, the user receives an error.

ERROR

APP-PAY-34070: The bank account does not uniquely map to cash management account

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate: Payroll > Payment Methods
2. Query for payment method to change
3. Change account name and bank name on Source tab and get error
