Goal
We are running Rebuild Help Search Index concurrent program on a weekly basis , it is taking between 5 and 10 hours to complete. Please can you provide guidance of what the request achieves and when it should be run .
- Is it a requirement to run this concurrent job after new or modified help files (e.g. those supplied with eBusiness suite patches) are loaded into the eBusiness suite ?
- If there have been no new or modified files uploaded is it necessary to run this job on a regular basis ?
Would you expect a patch readme to specify if Rebuild Help Search Index should be run ? If so can you provide an example.
