Symptoms
On Oracle Applications 12.1.3 version, OID SSO Technologies,
after upgrading E business suite from 11i to 12.1.3 when ever trying to create user from E business suite user define form get below error:
Unabled to call fnd_ldap_wrapper.create_user due to the following reason:
ORA-20001: <USER_NAME> New Password Cannot be the same as your Old Password
(USER_NAME=<USER_NAME>)
ORA-20001: <USER_NAME> New Password Cannot be the same as your Old Password
(USER_NAME=<USER_NAME>)
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login as the sysadmin user.
2. Try to create new user in user define form.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot be added to E business suite .
