Symptoms

Add an asset, Save.
Check table FA_DEPRN_DETAIL.addition_cost_to_clear column value - it shows positive.

Adjust the method, Save.
Check table FA_DEPRN_DETAIL.addition_cost_to_clear column value - it now shows negative.

As a result, the asset now has data corruption.
