Symptoms

The query given in the CAUSE section will return one or more delivery details that are still open (ready to release, backordered, or released to warehouse) when their associated order lines  are closed or cancelled.  This issue may have arisen from any of the following activities.

  1. When you attempted to run Pick Release for all eligible orders, Pick Release throws a WSH_PICK_LIST exception.
  2. When you attempted to inactivate an item in Oracle Inventory, an error says that there are open sales order lines.
  3. When you attempted to close an open requisition in Purchasing results, an error says that there are open intransit shipments.
  4. When you attempted to purge old sales orders,  an error says that a certain order still has open deliveries.
