R12-"Recent Timecards" Sort By "Period Start" Date To Show Most Current Timecard (Doc ID 1584519.1)

Goal

In 11i we were given a workaround to have the default sort in "Recent Timecards" to show the most current timecard. In R12 it seems to default to the oldest timecard first which is really not end user friendly. We know you can hit the "Period Start" header to get the sort to change but we want our employees to see it straight away.

Is there a setting or a personalization or anything we can do to default the sort to the most current timecard?
