Symptoms

On OTM version 6.3.1 when attempting to add an Accessorial to a Quote an error is encountered.

ERROR

java.sql.BatchUpdateException: ORA-02291 integrity constraint (GLOGOWNER.FK_QCSC_ACCESSORIAL_CODE_GID) violated - parent key not found


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1- Logged onto an internal OTM 6.3.1 system.

2 - Navigated to: Brokerage and Forwarding > Quote.

3 - Clicked NEW.

4 - Entered the following:

a - Identification tab:
ID
Issue date
Expiration date
Bill to Party
Shipper
Consignee
Quote requestor

b - Quote request tab:
Orgin Location ID
Destination Location ID
Shipping Information
Transport Mode

c - In the Cost Options tab click 'Manually Add Cost Options'.

d - Under the Sell Shipping details Section, Click on the Edit Button.

e - Click on the 'Create Spot Rate Button' (top right).

f - Populated the following:
Service Provider ID
Spot Rate Offering
Contact Name
Clicked OK.

g - Enter the following:
Source Location
Destination Location ID
Amount: 1000.00 per SHIP UNIT
Accessorial Code
Accessorial Cost

h - Click Finished.

i - Click on the 'Rate' button (top right).

j - The base cost and Accessorial costs are shown.

k - Click on the Save button to save the Rates.

l - Click on the Finished button.

m - The error is shown.
