How to Create an Additional Data Point in Credit Management Using Examples in the User Guide? (Doc ID 1626001.1)

Last updated on JULY 05, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Credit Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Oracle has provided the ability to:

"define your own data points for inclusion on credit checklists and scoring models for credit analysis. When defining new data points, you can associate a PL/SQL package and function to derive a value for that data point"

The User Guide provides a sample function and procedure to do so.  However, both the function and procedure examples provided in the User Guide don't compile.
Specifically, the HZ_CUSTOMER_PROFILE table does not exist in the 12.1.3 instance, nor does the OCM_ADD_DP_PARAM_REC_TYPE object.

Is there some documentation (ideally something with a sample function that will compile in 12.1.3) on how to "define your own data point"?
