Symptoms

When attempting to run GLRXDBJ module: Journals - Day Book the log flle shows error in the publising are(sample details):

 

 

ERROR:

Beginning post-processing of request [&number] on node [&node] at [&date]
-- Publishing output

Post-processing of request [&number] failed at [&date] with the error message:
One or more post-processing actions failed. Consult the OPP service log for details.

CONC-POST-PROCESSING RESULTS
-- PUBLISH:
oracle.apps.fnd.cp.opp.PostProcessorException: oracle.apps.fnd.cp.opp.PostProcessorException: oracle.apps.xdo.XDOException

 

OPP (Output Post Processor) Logfile shows:

[UNEXPECTED] [1571777:RT47903510] java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method)
...........
Caused by: java.lang.StackOverflowError

This patch was applied and it did not resolve the issue: Patch 13612492:R12.GL.B CONSOLIDATED PATCH FOR 12.1.3 - GLRXDBJ.rtf  120.6.12010000.5. 

Note: this document refers to GLRXDBJ module: Journals - Day Book report but it could help just the same to overcome identical errors thrown by other similar reports.
