ORG_ACCT_PERIODS Calendar Is Not in Sync With GMF_PERIOD_STATUSES Table (Doc ID 1635685.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 18, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Process Manufacturing Financials - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version

When attempting to run actual cost process the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
No inventory cal/period for this cost cal/period

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
When opening a period for a specific month (for example November, 2013 ), it populates the data in the table GMF_PERIOD_STATUSES with an incorrect date and time in columns START_DATE and END_DATE.
When checking the records in table GMF_PERIOD_STATUSES, it includes the 1st of the next month in the END_DATE column
 (for example: START_DATE= 01-11-2013 07:00:00 and END_DATE= 01-12-2013 06:59:59, but it should be START_DATE= 01-11-2013 00:00:01 and END_DATE= 30-11-2013 23:59:59).
