Error When End Dating Element Link: "APP-PAY-07134 You cannot delete links which have entries within the deletion period" (Doc ID 1666543.1)

When attempting to end date an element link, an error is displayed on the form.

ERROR

APP-PAY-07134 You cannot delete links which have entries within the deletion period
Cause: You have attempted to shut down a link which has entries within the deletion period you have selected
Action: Delete all entries starting after the session date and try again or do not shut down the link

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
=================
1. From HRMS Manager responsibility: Navigate: Total Compensation > Basic > Link
2. Using the Datetrack icon in the toolbar, select the effective date to the date you want to end the link.
3. Query for the link to end-date
4. Click on the Delete (red X) icon in the tool bar > Yes (to delete the link) > End Date button.  This produces the error.
