On : 12.1.3 version, Person / Assignment Issues
When attempting to delete / terminate the secondary assignment of a person the following error occurs.
APP-PAY-07139: You cannot correct the first assignment status.
You attempted to change the assignment status to something other than Active. Only Active assignment statuses are permissible for the first occurrence of each assignment.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
UK HRMS Manager -> People -> Enter & Maintain -> Query the record -> click Assignment -> select secondary assignment -> Update the status to terminate assignment and save
