R12 Asset Corruption on Multi-Distributed Asset with Purged Addition Data After Retirement

(Doc ID 1680298.1)

Last updated on MARCH 24, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Assets - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Assets with purged rows for ADDITION and other early transactions are giving unpredictable NBV and RESERVE values for retirements.

Regardless of their upgrade and/or purge history, active assets when retired should produce correct values.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Purge rows belonging to active assets added a number of years ago.
2. Retire that asset.
3. Run Calculate Gains and Losses.
