Unable To Assign Default Category Set To 'Process Cost Class' Functional Area (Doc ID 1682026.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to assign Process Cost Category set to Functional Area Process Cost Class, the following error occurs.

ERROR
APP-INV-05115: You must assign all items of this type to the new set first

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Ensured that the intended default category set has been assigned to all items where process_costing_enabled_flag = 'Y'.

NOTE: Script to check that all assignments are present (should return no rows):

2. Navigation: Inventory / setup / items / categories / default category sets
3. Try to assign Process Cost Category set to Functional Area Process Cost Class
4. Error presents
