On : 12.1.3 version, Expenditure Processing

As per : FUNCTIONAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT DOCUMENT Oracle Projects Release Update Pack (RUP) 6 patch for 12.1

3.5 Correction of Expenditure Batches that are in Released Status and Not Cost Distributed
3.5.1 Feature Description : Prior to this enhancement, a released, pre-approved expenditure batch was not available for user to edit and correct even if the expenditure items in the batch were not cost distributed. This feature enables the user to modify un-costed expenditure items in a pre-approved batch, if the status of the batch is Released. It is also supported for un-costed expenditure items imported through custom transaction sources. For more information, refer to the My Oracle Support Document ID: 1602128.1
3.5.2 Functional Impacts : This enhancement may have impact on Enter Pre approved Batch screen as stated below:
Update button is enabled for a pre-approved batch that is in Released status and the expenditure items of the batch are not cost distributed. Update button is not enabled for a batch, if all the expenditure items of the batch are cost distributed. When an adjustment is performed on an expenditure batch, the corresponding adjusted/reversed batch cannot be updated. For expenditure batch belonging to pre-defined sources, such as OTL timecard and Expense Reports, the Update button is not enabled. Update button is enabled for an expenditure batch which has a combination of costed and un-costed expenditure items, and upon clicking Update, only un-costed expenditure items are fetched for a user to update.

This patch is applied, but post patch application, on the PA EXPENDITURE BATCHES the update button is not there
