R12.2 Upgrade Finds Poor Performance of Script QPXDUPLA.sql (Doc ID 1900312.1)

Goal

Question 1: Does one need to run QPXDUPLA.sql during the 12.1.3 to 12.2.3 upgrade?


Script run to check code used in this file:


It took 211 seconds to run per worker on the test environment, but on production it takes over 20 minutes to run (in production only the SQL was run - not the upgrade).

Question 2: Given the main update works by ROW ID range, should this script be fixed so that the 'SELECT 'X' ...' also runs by ROWID range?
