Unable To Update EAM Asset Number Using The Standard API

When attempting to update the EAM Asset Number, using the procedure update_asset_number in package EAM_ASSETNUMBER_PUB,  the API returns error,


'Asset Instance Not found in CSI_ITEM_INSTANCES'


The issue can be reproduced using the following steps:

1. Use public API EAM_ASSETNUMBER_PUB to update asset numbers.

2. When the API is run,  the aforementioned error occurs.
