Cannot Change Status to Deferred in Retropay Status Form After Changing Recalculation Date by API (Doc ID 1914952.1)

Symptoms

Users are unable to change retro assignment status to 'Deferred' on the RetroPay Status form after changing the recalculation date by using API 'pay_retro_status_internal.update_reprocess_date'

ERROR
You cannot apply these changes because there is already an unprocessed assignment with this name (XXXX XXXXX / XXXX XXXX). Please query XXXX XXXX / XXXX XXXX and use the existing assignment.

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Change the recalculation date by using API "pay_retro_status_internal.update_reprocess_date".

 

 2. Open the page "RetroPay Status"
       (N) View -> Retropay Status > query for Outstanding retro assignments

 3. Click the Select check box and select the status"Deferred"

 4. Try to Click the button"Change Status" and then the error happens.
