Migration from 11i to R12: Is it possible To Upgrade OPM Inventory Organization As Subinventory Of New Inventory Organization ?

Oracle Process Manufacturing Systems - Version 11.5.10.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Customer is upgrading from 11i to R12. In 11i, they had defined 1 Manufacturing Plan OPM Organizations: PL1 – Manufacturing Plant
They are creating batches only in PL1. At the time of the creation of batches, they also select WIP Warehouse. Right now in 11i there are near to 30 OPM warehouses., which are 30 Inventory Organizations associated with only 1 OPM Organization ‘PL1’.
In the new Business model They actually have 4 different factories. In the R12 environment, they want now to create 4 Inventory Organizations as:
1. FT1
2. FT2
3. FT3
4. FT4
They now want that current 30 inventory organizations (Inv Org in 11i) will be created as a Sub-Inventory under the new 4 different R12 Inventory Organizations.
What has been considered to do is creating these 4 Organizations as 4 Inventory organizations (FT1, FT2, FT3, FT4) in release 11i .
Then using Convergence Migration Setup form, they could map the 30 warehouses as subinventories under the new inventory organizations FT1, FT2, FT3, and FT4 created.
But this is not working: they cannot select OPM Inventory Organization against warehouses (Warehouse tab in Convergence Migration Setup Form).
==> if selecting Flag “Migrate as subinventory”, then the Inventory Org is defaulted to PL1 and cannot be changed.
Is the customer case feasible or not in standard migration?
