iProcurement Requisition Non-Catalog Request Does Not Default the Category From the Smart Form (Doc ID 1929808.1)

Symptoms

Default Category specified in a Smart Form results in blank category value when the Smart Form is chosen. Users expect the default category specified in the Smart Form definition should be populated by default, but instead the Category is defaulted as blank.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Verify the Default Category Set for Purchasing functional area = PO Item Category
Purchasing / Setup / Items / Categories / Default Category Sets
2. Query for this Category Set = PO Item Category
Purchasing / Setup / Items Categories / Category Sets
3. Verify the category value is listed in the list of valid categories for the category set
Purchasing / Setup / Items Categories / Category Sets

Category value = AB.CD
- this category is listed in the category set

4. Query smart form = Laptops
iProcurement Catalog Administration / Stores / Smart Forms

See the default category = AB.CD

5. Navigate to iProcurement
6. In the Store, Choose the Smart Form

See Request Type = Laptops
- the Category is defaulted as null

The category should be defaulted as AB.CD
