Only First Power Unit Assignment Check is Performed All Others are Ignored (Doc ID 1930164.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management - Version 6.3.4 to 6.3.5 [Release 6.3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When Driver Assignment process is triggered and Show Option is clicked, the system is only evaluating the first power unit assignment check (special service/remark) when the group of drivers is evaluated.
Therefore, if the first driver power unit assignment check failed, all the other drivers power unit assignment checks also failed because system is evaluating only first driver power unit for all the drivers instead of evaluating their corresponding one.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create 2 drivers and set them as active. First of them has the qualifier with the value 'N' and the second has the value 'Y'.
2. De-activate all the other drivers.
3. Go to Actions, Assign, Driver, Show Options

None of the two drivers are assigned.
