Symptoms
Payroll "Costing" process costed against suspense account when the segment contains a value used for the segment delimiter. The process completes without error, but "View Run Messages" contains an error.
Value <VALUE> for the flexfield segment <SEGMENT> does not exist in the value set <VALUE SET>. invalid code combination: <CODE COMBINATION>
Example Setups:
Segment Separator of "Cost Allocation Flexfield" key flexfield = Period(.)
Cost segment1 = 100
Cost segment2 = 100
Cost segment3 = 1.0
Cost combination = 100.100.1.0 <== THIS IS AN INVALID CODE COMBINATION
Segment Separator of "Cost Allocation Flexfield" key flexfield = Period(.)
Cost segment1 = 100
Cost segment2 = 100
Cost segment3 = 1.0
Cost combination = 100.100.1.0 <== THIS IS AN INVALID CODE COMBINATION
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run the Payroll Process.
2. Run the Costing process.
3. Costing process completes without error as suspense account is used.
4. "View Run Messages" of the assignment shows the error.
