Symptoms

On 12.2 with 11.2.0.3 database, when attempting to splice custom products application top "XXABC" after an upgrade from 11i or R12.x
the following error occurs.

Changes

 The password of the customer XXABC was changed without using FNDCPASS prior to using adsplice.
