Goal
In recent times we have seen issues/errors reported multiple times for same corruption in accounting:
Type 1: Duplicate accounting headers exist for same event / same entity / same ledger. One header is invalid with Accounting_entry_status_code = 'I' (Incomplete) and other header with Accounting_entry_status_code = 'F' (Final Accounted).
Type 2: When accounting is run for Multi-Period Accounting (MPA) transactions, if the Account Derivation Rule (ADR) fails to fetch the Code Combination ID (CCID), then the ACCOUNTING_ENTRY_STATUS_CODE remains as 'I' and events' statuses are 'P' / 'P'.
Type 3: Where the duplicate ae_header_id are with CODE_COMBINATION_ID <> -1 on xla_ae_lines table and ACCOUNTING_ENTRY_STATUS_CODE = 'F' on xla_ae_headers table.
How can you identify such corruptions and fix them?
