Symptoms
Some dynamic variables in the bursting control file not being filled with the values from the XML data source file and fail with the following error:
This can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Produce a couple of PDF files using XML Publisher and an RTF template.
2. Then split those files bursting to the filesystem in single PDF files, one per employee.
3. This PDF file is correctly formed and it contains the expected data. The problem is that after the first one, the bursting process goes in error as it attempts to create the file in a non existing path as follows:
'/data//loonstrook///016775_HS__.pdf' and errors.
