HTTP 404 Error Generated Trying to Display Images via HTTPS (Doc ID 1950042.1)

Symptoms

After re-installing OTM and updating the DocumentRoot directory in the httpd.conf file user can access custom images, but if the instance is changed to use HTTPS the custom images can not be accessed and a 404 error is received.

The same file can be successfully accessed via http.
