Convert Order Process Not Setting Proper Status Values on Planned Orders (Doc ID 1991620.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Operational Planning - Version 6.3.3 to 6.3.7 [Release 6.3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When migrating from 5.5 to 6.3, the order movements were created with the wrong status. They have 'OM_PLANNING_NEW' instead of 'OM_PLANNING_EXECUTED - FINAL'.

The expected behavior would be that once the migration completes the order movements should have the correct status which is 'OM_PLANNING_EXECUTED - FINAL'.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Have an order that is planned to one shipment
2. Manually remove the order movement (delete records in order_movement_d, delete order_movement_status first before deleting the order movement)
3. Run the sql script for conversion to see if a new order movement is created and if the status for the order movement is 'OM_PLANNING_NEW'
