Date Format In Database & Front End Is Displayed in an Incorrect Format in Front End When Running API HR_PERSON_EXTRA_INFO_API.CREATE_PERSON_EXTRA_INFO (Doc ID 1994859.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Date of flexfield defined as FND_STANDARD_DATE displays incorrectly in the application front end to that held in the database

For example, in the database the segment shows as 14-Jul-2014 however in fron end it is showing as 14-Jul-0014

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Date format in Database & Front end should be same

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Execute HR_PERSON_EXTRA_INFO_API.CREATE_PERSON_EXTRA_INFO using the following parameter

Inserting record for person_id:<PERSON_ID>Type:WAmount:752
P_PEI_INFORMATION2:8.68
P_PEI_INFORMATION3:01-Jul-12
P_PEI_INFORMATION5:W
Stock Option Grant Record created3267
P_PEI_INFORMATION2:3267
P_PEI_INFORMATION3:8.68
P_PEI_INFORMATION4:9.48
P_PEI_INFORMATION5:14-Jul-14
P_PEI_INFORMATION6:940

2. Extra person Info Type "Stock Option Exercise" Record got created.
3. At the end of the Insert, All Inserts done successfully
4. However the date format in Database and front end is not matching. In database its showing as 14-Jul-2014 however in front end it is showing as 14-Jul-0014.
 Front end it is incorrect
