How do you post back dated payroll transactions in the open GL period?

For example:

We have run the payroll in the month of Jan-2015; however, the GL period is now closed for Jan-2015. So we want to transfer the payroll data of Jan-2015 into the Feb-2015 GL Period (next open period) i.e; we want to post the payroll data of Jan-2015 In the latest GL open period.
