ASCII revision workaround for sequence (Doc ID 2001823.1)

Goal

We have an item with 11 revisions, the 1st one was 'A' but then users need to change it to _3. After that we keep adding revisions til _9, now we need to add revision _11 but it errors out with "New revision must be greater than the current revision"
