Symptoms

Using WebADI to do mass Item Status Updates.
In one case Item Status is being updated from Active to Inactive.
Per the Item Status Attributes configuration, in Active status the Transactable flag is Yes and in Inactive status Transactable flag is No.
In addition to this the Check Material Shortage Flag is Yes for the Item.

Item Status is Master Controlled attribute and Check Shortages Flag is Organization Controlled attribute.

When WebADI is submitted to change the Item Status from Active to Inactive, WebADI throws the below error.
Ideally WebADI program should update the check shortages flag to No when Item status is changed to Inactive as it is dependent on the Transactions enabled flag.
Due to this users have to update manually these flags to change the item status.
