Email Notifications For Requisitions Have Error - Unable To Validate Access To Notification

In Oracle iProcurement, Release 12.2.4, an error appears in the approver's requisition approval notification received via email.


Unable to validate access to Notification.

Steps To Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. The requisition preparer logs in to Oracle iProcurement and submits a requisition for approval.
2. The approver receives the approval notification email. In the notification details, the error message appears instead of the requisition details appearing.

The "Approve", "Reject" and "Request Information" links on the notification appear and function correctly when used.
The requisition details display correctly when viewing the notification from the worklist.

Business Impact

Due to this issue, approver users cannot see the requisition details in the notification emails, and they must log in to Oracle Applications and view the notification from the worklist or see the requisition in Oracle iProcurement, before deciding on whether or not to approve the document. This leads to delayed productivity.
