Symptoms

E-Business Suite 12.2.4, Issue with the functionality of AD Utilities

When attempting to add a custom product, adsplice fails with the following error:

ERROR

AD Splicer error:
Incorrect format of file:

$APPL_TOP/admin/newprods.txt

'The file has format '%%% Splicer control file format 12.0.A and this version of AD Splicer requires format '%%% Splicer control file format 12.0.A'

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Setup the files for the custom product(s).
2. Run adsplice
