Permanent Fix for Project's Summarization Processes Erroring with APPLSYS.FND_STATTAB After Every Gather Schema Stats. (Doc ID 2023458.1)

Symptoms

PRC: Refresh Project and Resource Base Summaries errors in the log after Gather Schema Statistics is run weekly.


After the error is encountered the following is done:

  1. Take a backup of APPLSYS.FND_STATTAB
  2. drop table APPLSYS.FND_STATTAB
  3. exec dbms_stats.create_stat_table('APPLSYS','FND_STATTAB');

 Also, tried to upgrade the table as follows:  "exec DBMS_STATS.UPGRADE_STAT_TABLE('APPLSYS','FND_STATTAB')"

This happens every week and a permanent fix is needed.
