Symptoms
When attempting to run the script afchrchk.sql to remove spaces in the ENG_ENGINEERING_CHANGES table, it is failing with:
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: host bind array too small
ORA-06512: at line 1
ORA-06512: at line 1
This can be re-produced with the following steps:
1. Go to $FND_TOP/sql directory.
2. Locate the afchrchk.sql script.
3. Run the script on the ENG_ENGINEERING_CHANGES table from sqlplus.
