No Single Shipment Created When Planning Multiple Order Releases With Delivery Appointment Checked

Symptoms
When planning multiple Order Releases going to different locations expected to go in a multistop shipment, having set EDD and LDD and "Delivery Appointment" on the Order Releases, multiple shipments are created instead of a single shipment, as expected.
If the delivery appointment flag is unchecked in any of the order releases then it creates a single shipment.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Plan the orders.
Multiple Shipments are created instead of a single one.
