Symptoms

When attempting to update the period year in Maintain PA Period Statuses the following error occurs:

APP-SQLGL-08044: you can only modify periods that have never been used
when updating or changing the existing periods


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Projects Responsibility > Setup >
  2. System > PA Periods
  3. Try updating the PA Period
