Argentina Withholding
Payment

Symptoms

Argentina Withholding is not being applied during payment for some supplier payments.


The following setups were confirmed:

Ensure there is no minimum withholding amount in the tax setup.

1. Path: Setup -> Options -> Payables Option (APXCUMSP)
Withholding Tax <tab>

2. Path: Argentina Localization -> Company Information -> Location (PERWSLOC)
Query the location in question
Select the Address field to open the flexfield

3. Path: Suppliers
Query the supplier in question
Navigate to the Tax Details

4. Localizations -> Argentina Localizations -> Setup -> Withholding Taxes -> Withholding Tax Types (JLZZPDWT)
Query the Withholding Tax Type Code being used with the tax code in question (exaxmple: AR_RR_LOSE_2%.)

5. Path: Setup -> Tax -> Tax Codes (APXTADTC)
Query the Tax Code in question (example: AR_RR_LOSE_2%)
Open the global flexfield

6. Path: Localizations -> Argentina Localizations -> Setup -> Withholding Taxes -> Company Applicability (JLZZPCWH)
Enter the Legal Entity being used and search

7. Path: Localizations -> Argentina Localizations -> Setup -> Withholding Taxes -> Supplier Applicability (JLZZPSWH)
Query the supplier in question

8. Path: Invoices -> Entry -> Invoices
Query an invoice with the issue and confirm Ship To field in Invoice Distributions

9. The following possible causes have also been elminated
MOS <Note 1934623.1 >Argentina Withholding Tax Not Calculated For Imported Invoices
MOS <Note 1455638.1> Argentina Withholding Tax Lines and Distributions are Not Created With Payments on the Last Day of Month
MOS <Note 1677137.1> Argentina Withholding Tax is Calculated for Two Provinces Even Though Ship to Location is for Only One Province
