Symptoms

After making changes to values in a dependent value set of an accounting flexfield segment, the system automatically launches the General Ledger Accounting Setup Program (GLSTFL) that finishes with error.
The errors are the same as described in Oracle <Note 1277333.1>. Installed the patch 9836341:R12.GL.B, but this issue still occurs.

Steps
------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Go to Responsibility = General Ledger Super User
2. Navigate to Setup > Financials > Flexfields > Values > query the dependent value set > make a change to a value
3. Save
4. GLSTFL module: General Ledger Accounting Setup Program is kicked off
5. Check its log, as it completes in error.
