Symptoms
Problem Statement:
When attempting to change the assignment information, following error occurs. (e.g. Add position to the assignment, remove Default Expense Account, terminate assignment...etc)
You cannot add another assignment to this position. The Position Type is a single incumbent and an assignment already exists for it.
Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Create a position with Single Incumbent.
- Assign position to several assignments, with no overlapped period.
- Update the assignment information of one of the assignments.
- Received the PER_ASG_EXISTS_FOR_SINGLE_POS error.
