Total Gross Weight and Ship Unit Refnums not Populating After Receipt of Shipment Actuals

Symptoms
When sending shipment actual with transaction code of RC, the total gross weight field on the shipment ship unit is getting a null value.
It is expected when sending a new ship unit via shipment actual that replaces the initial ship unit, to have the total gross weight field on the shipment ship unit.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Search for shipment number
2. Go to Equipment tab
3. Click on Equipment ID
4. Click on Ship Unit ID
5. Notice the Total Gross Weight field
6. Integrate a Shipment Actual XML that updates the shipment with a new S_Ship_Unit ID.
7. Perform steps from 1 to 5 again
