ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

GTM Item allows to add multiple Product Classification Codes for the same Trade Direction & Product Classification Type ID.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

It is expected that one should not be allowed to add multiple Product Classification Codes for the same Trade Direction & Product Classification Type ID

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Trade Master Data > Trade Item Management > Trade Item.

2. Query an existing item TEST_ITEM01 and under Product Classification add the following:

a) Direction: Export

b) Product Classification Type ID: ECCN US

c) Product Classification Code: TEST_CLASS01

d) Press Save and also the Finished button and when the item is queried again, it can seen that the Product Classification Status shows as CREATED.

e) Repeat the steps a) and b) exactly as before and at c) choose Product Classification Code: TEST_CLASS02

f) Press Save and also the Finished button and when the item is queried again, it can seen that the Product Classification Status shows as CREATED

It allows to save this record . This is not the expected behavior. The expected behavior is that, for the second time, a message should appear as follows:
