XLAPEXRPT Subledger Period Close Exceptions Report

Symptoms

When attempting to close a period in General Ledger, the Subledger Period Close Exceptions Report (XLAPEXRPT) is executed and errors with the following:

ERROR

****Warning!!! Due to high volume of data, got out of memory exception...***
****Please retry with scalable option or modify the Data template to run in scalable mode...***

The log file will display the following:


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. GL SuperUser Responsibility > Setup > Open/Close
2. Find the Ledger and choose the Period to close
3. Subledger Period Close Exception Report will automatically be spawned and throw warning
