Nonrecurring Element Is Prorated Where It Is Expected to Be Paid in Full (Doc ID 2088813.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When the nonrecurring element entry starts in the middle of payroll period (e.g. Hire date is in the middle of the pay period), run result value is prorated.

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Create nonrecurring element using template.
     (N) Total Compensation > Earnings
     Select "Hours * Rate * Factor" for the Calculation Rule.
  2.  Create element link.
  3.  Create element entry in the middle of the payroll period with input value "Date Earned" = null.
  4.  Run Payroll Process.
  5.  Run result shows that the element is prorated.
