Journal reversal is failing with "ORA-00001 unique constraint (GL.GL_JE_HEADERS_U2) violated" while trying to create reversal journal for reporting ledger. (Doc ID 2089941.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to Reverse Journals,the following error occurs.

ERROR

PREV0010: Inserting reversing header ...
PERF0005: Oracle error detected in glpcrh - ORA-00001: unique constraint (GL.GL_JE_HEADERS_U2) violated
  

SHRD0014: GLPREV - process exiting with failure.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Reverse Journals
2. Check the log file of the program GLPREV module: Reverse Journals
